Emergency and Inpatient Care Today

For generations, the Laguna Beach hospital campus has been part of the community’s care story. Today, the way people access care has changed significantly since the hospital opened in 1959, particularly for emergency and inpatient services.

Providence is planning for a new model of care that:

  • Leverages technological advances in medicine that have transformed care.

  • Enables us to prioritize investments necessary to serve the community today – and well into the future.

  • Provides a sustainable long-term model for care in collaboration with local emergency services and healthcare partners.
